UFC champ says he ‘spit out his coffee’ after realising how short his rival is

UFC bantamweight champion Sean O'Malley said he 'spat out his coffee' after realising how short rival Henry Cejudo is.

The 28-year-old claimed gold at UFC 292 last month when he knocked out Aljamain Sterling in the second round of their title bout in stunning fashion.

O'Malley has long been touted as the next superstar of the UFC and to become the face of the company once Conor McGregor retires and becoming a champion is certainly the first step towards making that happen.

Despite his championship credentials, that hasn't stopped 'Suga' from taking shots at his long-time rival and former two-division UFC champion, Henry Cejudo.

The pair have been at each other's throats for the last couple of years and with O'Malley now the champion of the division, a bout with the 36-year-old could come to fruition.

The personality, charm and humour of the champion are what most fans are drawn to and he demonstrated just that in his latest post on X as he made fun of Cejudo's 5'2 frame.

O'Malley wrote: "I literally just remembered how short Henry is and spit out my coffee I was loling so hard" this past Friday (September 1) and has since been seen over two million times on the social media platform.

Quite a few fans enjoyed his quip about Cejudo's height as one user wrote: "This joke probably went over his head," while another commented: "5’2 for a dude is CRAZY though. Regardless of the guy is."

KSI takes on Tommy Fury at the AO Arena in Manchester on Saturday, October 14th as he hopes to cause an upset. Logan Paul will also be fighting at the event in front of what is expected to be a sell-out crowd.

However, there were some who weren't the biggest fans of O'Malley's jokes as one person wrote: "O'Malley trying to be Dillion Danis so hard lately."

The Montana native recently made headlines for his controversial comments during an appearance on Bradley Martyn's 'Raw Talk' podcast where he suggested he can cheat on his wife because he "pays for everything".

O'Malley is in an open relationship with Danya Gonzalez and shares a three-year-old daughter with her.

He told the bodybuilder: "I’m a king, I pay for everything, I treat Danya like a queen. If I get a little p**s on the side, what does that have to do with anything?

"I have testosterone running through my veins; it’s simple," he added.
