Paddy Pimblett breaks Rolex at Cage Warriors as ‘clasp went up his sleeve’

Paddy Pimblett's watch came apart during his wild reaction to a Cage Warriors bout – with the clasp flying up his sleeve.

The UFC star was watching Cage Warriors 160 at the Bec Arena in Manchester alongside Molly McCann with several Next Generation MMA team-mates in action on Friday (September 29). One of those fighting was Luke Riley, who won an enthralling featherweight bout against Alexander Loof to move to 8-0.

It was during Riley's early dominance that Pimblett was most energised, bashing his hand against the side of the cage – with his watch paying the price. A video captioned by Cage Warriors said: "The UFC baddy broke his rolex during THAT fight."

Pimblett, 28, was famously gifted an Everose Gold Rolex Day Date by Drake after a win at UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs. Aspinall last July, which is worth in the region of £50,000.

However, it appears as though he was wearing his 18K White Gold Rolex Yachtmaster on Friday evening, which has an Oyster-Flex Bracelet and is worth around £25,000.

Pimblett said in the clip: "It'll fix like but at end of the first round where he nearly had him finished I jumped up and started banging on the side of the cage.

Pimblett (20-3) goes into the bout on the back of his controversial win over Jared Gordon which handed him a fourth consecutive UFC victory.
