Man Utd pair Bruno Fernandes and McTominay keep distance after ‘bust-up’ denied
Manchester United stars Bruno Fernandes and Scott McTominay were both spotted in training keeping their distance after the club denied reports of a row between the two players. The Red Devils were beaten 3-1 by Brighton on Saturday to increase the pressure on head coach Erik ten Hag, and reports claimed tempers boiled over the dressing room too.
The Sun claim that captain Fernandes confronted McTominay after the game following their third defeat in five games this season, while defenders Victor Lindelof and Lisandro Martinez were also said to have been involved in a spat at Old Trafford.
However, the club have dismissed those reports about the quartet and all four players trained on Tuesday before their Champions League clash against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday.
Erik ten Hag is expected to be quizzed on the matter on Tuesday as he prepares for his press conference before the team fly out to Munich for their Group A opener.
