Taylor Fritz has the world at his feet at the age of 25. The world No. 10 is the top-ranked man in US tennis and already has six ATP titles to his name. The 6ft 5″ Californian did his growing reputation no harm by reaching the quarter-finals of Wimbledon in 2022 before repeating the feat at this year’s US Open where he was taken down by eventual champion Novak Djokovic.
Fritz reached a career-best ranking of 5 in February and although he has slipped back a little since, he is still delivering the goods both on and off the court. And had he not made it as a professional tennis player he still had his natural good looks to fall back on.
The poster boy of US tennis has dipped his toe into the world of modelling and was recognised for his non-sporting talents when featured on the front of Haute Living magazine in August, prior to the US Open.
He has since admitted that it is an industry he is starting to take more seriously and could possibly have pursued full-time if he hadn’t broken into the ATP tour.
Speaking to C Magazine, Fritz said: “Over the past few years, I have been a lot more into fashion. It’s something that I definitely want to do more of to build my brand.
“I remember saying to one of my friends when we were 15 or 16 that if tennis didn’t work out I would model. And obviously, tennis has opened the door to do a lot of things.”
The American’s appeal is reflected by his 500,000 followers on Instagram, where he keeps fans updated on his progress both on and off the courts.
He is currently in a relationship with influencer Morgan Riddle, who regularly shares photos of her life on tour with Fritz.
After doing a one-to-one interview with the New York edition of Haute Living, he starred in a lavish photoshoot that ran alongside the feature article.
Fritz truly shot to prominence after beating tennis great Rafael Nadal to win his first Masters 1000 title at Indian Wells in 2022.

But any plans to make a career out of modelling on a more permanent basis will have to take a back seat for now, such are the demands placed on a top modern tennis player.
Speaking to Haute Living in August, he said: “I worked really hard for a really long time for this. And, for a really long time, I really have given up a normal life — though I probably held on to [normalcy] longer than most other players did; I stayed in high school until partway through my sophomore year.
“But from then on, I made the decision that I was going to dedicate everything I had to tennis. Now I’m travelling 10 months out of the year. I don’t get to be home much; I don’t get to hang out with friends a lot. It’s tough, but I’ve just accepted it.”
