F1 star Alex Albon has cheeky fans joking there's an "Oscar incoming" after he starred in a Halloween advert – that wouldn't look out place in a GCSE exam.

Albon took time away from behind the wheel to film a product endorsement for Ceraveuki, a skincare brand. The short film, if you can call it that, sees Albon in his bathroom – until the lights begin to flicker.

His name then appears scrawled on the mirror when a voice asks if he's 'cleansed today'. Albon shows fans how to use their product to appeased the voice, but fans joked the acting left a lot to be desired.

"The acting is unmatched," one fan joked. While a second added: "Oscar incoming (not Piastri)…"

"Thank god you're a driver not an actor," a third said and a fourth joked: "Oscar award inbound Alex mate!" While another replied: "What is this fever dream!"

Albon has been linked with a return to Red Bull with Sergio Perez's time as their No.2 looks to becoming to a close. Martin Brundle claimed he thinks Red Bull wish they still had access to the Frenchman.

Speaking on Sky Sports earlier this season, he said: "He’s settled there [at Williams] and he feels comfortable.

“It’s the stick and the carrot – some drivers do need an arm round their shoulder and reassurance and to be listened to carefully and to feel they’re valued within a team. I bet Red Bull wish they still had access to him.”
