It&#8217;s All Kicking Off\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Julian Nagelsmann has left the door open for Toni Kroos to perform a U-turn and return to international football in time for Germany&#8217;s home Euro 2024 campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Real Madrid star Kroos elected to walk away from Germany following a below-par Euro 2020.<\/p>\n<p>He wanted to focus on his family, as well as try and prolong his club career with Real Madrid.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>But Kroos, who himself has remained tight-lipped on the prospect of playing for Germany again, is now in the sights of boss Nagelsmann, who has revealed he has spoken to the midfielder.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Interesting thought,&#8217; Nagelsmann told ZDF&#8217;s SportStudio when asked about the prospect of Kroos returning to the fold.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/17\/10\/79053229-12873655-image-a-28_1702807880999.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Toni Kroos could be in line to make a sensational return to international football for Euro 2024<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/17\/10\/79053225-12873655-image-a-29_1702807885219.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Germany boss Julian Nagelsmann is not ruling out Kroos coming back into the mix for his side<\/p>\n<p>Your browser does not support iframes.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;My job is to think about all German players. Toni is a great person who says his opinion clearly &#8211; and a very successful footballer. You can talk to him about everything.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Pressed on whether the pair spoke about Kroos completing a Germany U-turn during a recent conversation, Nagelsmann added:\u00a0<span>\u00a0&#8216;No, not concretely. We spoke about general topics.&#8217;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Nagelsmann continued:\u00a0&#8216;I think playing a Euros at home is an attractive prospect for all German players.
