It&#8217;s All Kicking Off<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thomas Tuchel snapped at a journalist after being asked about whether Stuttgart manager\u00a0Sebastian Hoeness could one day be his successor at Bayern Munich.<\/p>\n<p>The Bayern boss was in no mood for light-hearted questioning ahead of his side&#8217;s weekend Bundesliga encounter against Stuttgart and hit back at a suggestion\u00a0Hoeness could one day replace him.<\/p>\n<p>Stuttgart will leapfrog Bayern into second-place of the Bundesliga standings if they beat the reigning German top-flight champions in Munich on Sunday. Xabi Alonso&#8217;s Bayern Leverkusen are currently top of the table.<\/p>\n<p>Hoeness has impressed since being appointed Stuttgart manager in April this year, achieving an average of over two-points-per-game, while Tuchel has enjoyed a similar return since joining Bayern nine-months ago.<\/p>\n<p>The former Chelsea head coach has a contract at the German giants until June 2025 and hit back after being asked about potential future dugout changes at Bayern.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/15\/17\/79013171-12869393-image-a-22_1702662030259.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Thomas Tuchel was unhappy with a reporter at Bayern Munich&#8217;s pre-match press conference<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/15\/17\/79013173-12869393-image-a-23_1702662037422.jpg\" height=\"405\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Tuchel was asked whether Stuttgart manager\u00a0Sebastian Hoeness could one day replace him at the club<\/p>\n<p>Your browser does not support iframes.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;You don&#8217;t seriously think that I&#8217;ll speculate about my possible successor here?&#8217; said Tuchel.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I&#8217;m here now and who knows for how long. It doesn&#8217;t matter what I can imagine. The way Stuttgart plays is impressive, that&#8217;s the signature of Sebastian and his staff.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Tuchel has previously demonstrated he has no time for such suggestions after clashing with Germany legend\u00a0Lothar Matthaus earlier in the season.<\/p>\n<p>Matthaus at the time was criticising Tuchel and Bayern&#8217;s performances, with the pair then clashing on-air in a tense exchange.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/15\/17\/79013167-12869393-image-a-29_1702662251119.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Tuchel&#8217;s existing contract at Bayern runs until June 2025 and has already won the Bundesliga title with the club<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;You can say whatever you want, but I don&#8217;t want to be part of the discussion,&#8217; Tuchel told Matthaus after Bayern&#8217;s 4-0 win over Borussia Dortmund in November.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Today we won 4-0, but now you have to do a 180-degree turn.
