Listen to It&#8217;s All Kicking Off\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Barcelona have been banned from taking showers at their own home stadium as Catalonia fights to manage a record drought.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Catalan giants are currently playing at the 54,000-seater Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys stadium while the iconic Nou Camp undergoes renovations and remodeling across town.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>However the Blaugrana stars will not be able to enjoy the washing facilities at their temporary home given the long-term drought the region is experiencing.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The club were warned that they must &#8216;compensate&#8217; for any extra water that they use at either their stadium or the training ground as Spain battles drought.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>David Mascort,\u00a0Minister of Climate Action, Food and Rural Agenda, told Cadena SAR: &#8216;What Barca has to do is compensate for the water it uses with irrigation and save with showers.
