{"id":301194,"date":"2023-12-03T08:10:42","date_gmt":"2023-12-03T08:10:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sportstons.com\/?p=301194"},"modified":"2023-12-03T08:10:42","modified_gmt":"2023-12-03T08:10:42","slug":"talksport-confirm-jeff-stellings-breakfast-show-start-date","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sportstons.com\/soccer\/talksport-confirm-jeff-stellings-breakfast-show-start-date\/","title":{"rendered":"talkSPORT confirm Jeff Stelling&apos;s breakfast show start date"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1> talkSPORT confirm Jeff Stelling&#8217;s breakfast show start date as Soccer Saturday legend replaces Laura Woods&#8230; and he&#8217;ll be busy presenting on Prime Video&#8217;s Premier League coverage too<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Mail Sport revealed\u00a0Stelling, 68, would take on the role back in the summer\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>He will present Breakfast show twice a week with Alan Brazil fronting the others<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Sir Jim Ratcliffe could be Erik ten Hag&#8217;s biggest threat &#8211; Listen to why on It&#8217;s All Kicking Off\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Jeff Stelling will present his first talkSPORT Breakfast show this Monday as the former Sky Sports Soccer Saturday host takes to the airwaves.<\/p>\n<p>Mail Sport revealed back in the summer that broadcasting legend Stelling, 68, was replacing Laura Woods on the morning radio programme.<\/p>\n<p>Stelling will present the show on Mondays and Tuesday, working alongside popular pundit Ally McCoist, with Alan Brazil at the helm for the remainder of the week.<\/p>\n<p>TalkSPORT confirmed Stelling&#8217;s start with a funny video which showed Brazil less than impressed as he burned the toast.<\/p>\n<p>Hartlepool United superfan Stelling left Soccer Saturday at the end of last season after almost 30 years in the role.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/02\/15\/78502523-12817713-image-a-67_1701530678247.jpg\" height=\"353\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Jeff Stelling will present his first talkSPORT Breakfast show on Monday as he starts his new job<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/02\/15\/78502563-12817713-image-a-68_1701530734031.jpg\" height=\"433\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The former Soccer Saturday host has replaced Laura Wood as host of the talkSPORT show<\/p>\n<p>Your browser does not support iframes.<\/p>\n<p>But as well as his new radio gig, he will be returning to screens as host of a new Premier League goals show on Amazon Prime Video.<\/p>\n<p>Stelling has joined their presenting team as they prepare to screen 20 live matches this season, including a full set of midweek fixtures next week.<\/p>\n<p>Asked if he&#8217;s missed being on air, Stelling told talkSPORT:\u00a0&#8216;I&#8217;ve got two sons, a wife and a daughter. My daughter never watches football, my two sons always do. So, they get the benefit of my wisdom.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Actually, they think I&#8217;m a real pain in the backside because I will not shut up during the course of a football match. They think I&#8217;m still doing Soccer Saturday when I&#8217;m not, so you know. So they&#8217;re sick of my opinions!&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Stelling added:\u00a0&#8216;I won&#8217;t be as glamorous as Laura is, that is for sure!
