{"id":300400,"date":"2023-11-25T01:24:10","date_gmt":"2023-11-25T01:24:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sportstons.com\/?p=300400"},"modified":"2023-11-25T01:24:10","modified_gmt":"2023-11-25T01:24:10","slug":"betfair-launches-rachel-blackmores-serial-winners-fund-with-100k","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sportstons.com\/horse-racing\/betfair-launches-rachel-blackmores-serial-winners-fund-with-100k\/","title":{"rendered":"Betfair launches Rachel Blackmore&apos;s Serial Winners Fund with \u00a3100k"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Betfair launches the Rachael Blackmore&#8217;s Serial Winners Fund with initial \u00a3100,000 donation to charities working with jockeys adversely affected by the world of horse racing<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Betfair launches the Rachael Blackmore&#8217;s Serial Winners Fund to aid jockeys<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>There is an initial \u00a3100,000 donation, but it could reach over \u00a3250,000\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The fund will be split between the\u00a0Injured Jockeys Fund and Irish Injured Jockeys<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Betfair has launched the Rachael Blackmore&#8217;s Serial Winners Fund, which celebrates and recognises the determination and hard work of jockeys in the world of racing.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The charity initiative\u00a0launches in conjunction with the latest instalment of the betting company&#8217;s \u2018Serial Winner\u2019 documentary series, focusing on 34-year-old Blackmore.<\/p>\n<p>Proceeds will be evenly split between the Injured Jockeys Fund and Irish Injured Jockeys, charities which improve the lives of jockeys in the UK and Ireland.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>There is an initial \u00a3100,000 donation by Betfair to start off the fund, with\u00a0an additional \u00a35,000 added every time Blackmore rides a winner between Saturday&#8217;s Betfair Chase Day and Grand National Day on Saturday 13th April.<\/p>\n<p>She has ridden an average of 30 winners per year during that time, which could see the fund balloon to \u00a3250,000 before the end of the jumping season.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/24\/19\/78210571-12788555-image-a-40_1700855790694.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Betfair has launched the Rachael Blackmore&#8217;s Serial Winners Fund with a \u00a3100,000 donation<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/24\/19\/78210559-12788555-image-a-41_1700855836566.jpg\" height=\"450\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Blackmore said it was great Betfair were supporting two charities important to jockeys<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/youtube.com\/watch?v=wgodpkr1qQE%3Frel%3D0<\/p>\n<p>Betfair Ambassador Blackmore said: &#8216;This is a very generous initiative from Betfair and one that I am excited to be a part of over the coming season.
