Manchester United fans have had their minds blown after learning the correct pronunciation of Portuguese megastar Bruno Fernandes' name.

At the start of each Premier League season, each Prem star is asked to stand in front of a camera and correctly prononce their name. That video is then sent around to production companies, who can share it with their on air personnel.

And Fernandes' video has surfaced on social media, revealing his name is pronounced: "Bru-no Mig-el Fer-nanj." And Red Devils' fans are starting to realise they have been saying his name incorrectly all these years.

"Your world will explode when you find out Portuguese does not sound like Spanish Yes, that’s how you pronounce it," one fan responded. While a second said: "First heard the correct pronunciation from Derek Rae on FIFA 20."

Erik ten Hag's side have struggled this season, but they are starting to grind out results as the Premier League enters the winter months. The Red Devils will travel to Merseyside to take on Everton when the Premier League resumes over the weekend.

It's a must-win game for both sides, with United pushing for Europe and the Toffees looking to bounce back from their record 10-point deduction.

United fans will be hoping Fernandes – or Fernanj – will be at his brilliant best to help the Red Devils claim all three points at Goodison Park.
