It has not been easy. I have kept in touch with him and I have nothing but praise for the guy.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/23\/13\/78158719-0-image-m-27_1700746607667.jpg\" height=\"438\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has praised Harry Maguire for &#8216;the kind of person he is&#8217; and dealing with the ups and downs of football &#8216;in a fantastic way&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/23\/13\/78159549-0-image-a-28_1700746711203.jpg\" height=\"432\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>He signed Maguire and made him captain but the defender has struggled under Erik ten Hag<\/p>\n<p>Your browser does not support iframes.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;He has been in it. It&#8217;s not easy to leave Manchester United because you know there&#8217;s a downturn almost everywhere you go. You get paid for your efforts when you are that type, when you are a good footballer and show that you have a heart for the club.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I guess he has gradually learned who to listen to. I am very happy that Harry in particular shows what kind of player he is, but not least what kind of type and person he is. That&#8217;s why I made him captain.
