Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana has returned to Manchester United after being forced to withdraw from international duty due to an injury.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Onana, 27, returned to his club after picking up in injury during the World Cup qualifying match against Mauritius.<\/p>\n
The keeper was forced off and the national team have since revealed that he will miss their next match against Libya.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Man United will monitor the summer signing ahead of their clash with Everton on Sunday.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
The former Inter Milan shot stopper was substituted off late in the Mauritius victory – in which his side had secured a 3-0 win, though tests have shown that he has sustained an injury to one of the bones in his pelvis.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Fans were initially concerned about the impact of Onana’s injury on United’s squad as they return from the international break next week, though they have\u00a0received a timely injury boost as he is expected to be fit to face Everton next weekend, according to a report.<\/p>\n
Onana sparked fresh concerns over Erik ten Hag’s lengthy list of absentees after coming off with an adductor muscle problem during Cameroon’s win over Mauritius.<\/p>\n
His substitution quickly left supporters fearing the No 1 would be forced to sit out of the trip to Goodison Park, though a promising update has now been provided.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Sources have told The Mirror that Onana’s setback was not serious and that as soon as he felt pain, he was taken off to prevent worsening the issue.<\/p>\n
