Erik ten Hag has been without\u00a0Casemiro, Lisandro Martinez, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Luke Shaw\u00a0and Tyrell Malacia because of various injuries and illnesses.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The United manager will be eager to get\u00a0Hojlund and Eriksen back on the pitch sooner rather than later given the Red Devils are heading into the busiest period of the season.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/13\/09\/77686015-12742685-image-a-1_1699867824372.jpg\" height=\"419\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Man United star Rasmus Hojlund went off with a hamstring injury in clash with Luton Town<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/13\/09\/77684965-12742685-The_striker_who_is_yet_to_score_in_the_Premier_League_will_hope_-a-10_1699867870405.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The striker, who is yet to score in the Premier League, has withdrawn from international duty<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/13\/09\/77686011-12742685-image-a-11_1699867901374.jpg\" height=\"464\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Christian Eriksen went off with a knee injury shortly before half-time against Luton<\/p>\n<p>Your browser does not support iframes.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, it comes as no surprise that both Hojlund and Eriksen have withdrawn from international duty with Denmark &#8211; missing their upcoming fixtures against Slovenia and Northern Ireland later this month.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Denmark manager Kasper Hjulmand has decided to call-up Napoli star Jesper Lindstrom and Trabzonspor defender Jens Stryger Larsen to replace\u00a0Hojlund and Eriksen in their Euro Qualifiers.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Hojlund will be eager to return to action with Manchester United after making an explosive start in the Champions League for the Red Devils scoring five goals in four games.<\/p>\n<p>However, he is yet to find the back of the net in the Premier League, and depending on the seriousness of his injury, he might have a wait on his hands to break his goal drought in the top-flight &#8211; after making nine appearances to date.<\/p>\n<p>Eriksen has also been a regular for the Red Devils, making 14 appearances so far this season. They also need points from their upcoming Premier League fixtures as they are currently sitting sixth in the table.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Saturday&#8217;s 1-0 win over Luton means United are the most in-form team in the Premier League over the last five games but that hasn&#8217;t stopped fans from questioning their manager.<\/p>\n<p>The pressure around his position has been escalating amid a disastrous Champions League group stage &#8211; they are bottom of the group following the most recent 4-3 defeat to FC Copenhagen &#8211; and a dismal defence of their Carabao Cup title with a 3-0 home defeat to Newcastle.<\/p>\n<p>Nine defeats from 17 matches this season has seen some supporters raise doubts about the long-term suitability of Ten Hag.
