Plymouth's travelling supporters made their voices heard after taking 3,000 to Elland Road for a Championship showdown with Leeds.

But the Pilgrims faithful were still drowned out by the home legions after the Leeds loyal lasered in on the visiting supporters. Or more specifically, one member of the Plymouth fanbase in particular, whose major crime was wearing the wrong kind of trousers.

And the home masses were only too happy to remind the spectator in question of his error, belting out a chino-based chant in his 'honour'. Not that it appeared to annoy the target at all as he grinned back at his tormentors, seemingly incredulous that he had earned their attention to begin with.

Bobbing along to the tune of 'Kumbaya, My Lord', Leeds put their own (very unique) twist on the composition. And while the Elland Road regulars were in stitches at their creativity, it's difficult to see the song catching on anytime soon.

Thousands of fans joined in as they belted out: "She said noooo, Chino, she said no! Ohhhh, Chino, she said no!"

Trust football fans to spare no expense when it comes to crafting such a stroke of genius. That'll teach the Plymouth fan in Leeds' sights not to wear a smart-casual pant to Elland Road in future.

As for what garments would be more suitable to wear in front of the Lilywhites, perhaps Leeds fans prefer their guests wear khakis or a pair of cargo pants. Jeans are more than likely a safe bet, but then a curve ball option like leggings might be more to the taste of the locals.

But this footage should serve as an apparent warning that chinos will be mocked on sight. Especially if one's trying to attract some sort of romantic attention, judging by the lyrics.

Leeds should try whipping the song out more often after looking fairly comfortable for most of Saturday's 2-1 win over Plymouth. Perhaps some of the Plymouth players knew their choice of post-match attire was in for a mocking after catching wind of the dress code in Yorkshire.
