It was actually Drake. Didn\u2019t do the job for me,&#8217; Kyrgios said after the game.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Drake hit back at the then-19-year-old tennis star&#8217;s comments, saying he wanted to &#8216;chop him down&#8217; after his disrespectful remarks.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/12\/11\/77704027-12739915-image-m-10_1699789836366.jpg\" height=\"491\" width=\"306\"><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/12\/11\/77704075-12739915-image-a-11_1699789841982.jpg\" height=\"491\" width=\"306\"><\/p>\n<p>Drake (L) and Nick Kyrgios (R) have squashed their beef, the tennis star has revealed<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/12\/11\/77703795-0-image-a-1_1699788657078.jpg\" height=\"1137\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Drake said he was &#8216;hurt&#8217; by Kyrgios&#8217;s comments about his music nearly ten years ago<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I also want to meet this guy that says that he lost because he listened to my music,&#8217; the rapper said. &#8216;I also want to meet that guy and look him in the eye and see exactly who he is as a man and size him up and then chop him right down.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Nick whatever-his-name-is \u2014 &#8217;cause he didn&#8217;t win, so that&#8217;s how he&#8217;s going to be remembered: &#8220;Nick whatever-his-name-is&#8221;.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Kyrgios went on to beat Rafael Nadal in a breakthrough performance in which he has grown into one of tennis&#8217; most divisive personalities.<\/p>\n<p>And now the Canberra-born star has revealed that Drake recently contacted him directly to rue the ill-will between them, admitting that Kyrgios is his favourite tennis player.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;When you said I was trash it hurt me cause you really my fav player,&#8217; he wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Kyrgios replied: &#8216;Haha I didn&#8217;t say you are trash. I love your music my bro&#8230; I hope you are good.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Drake then wished Kyrgios the best, with the Aussie sidelined with yet another injury.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;We will link up soon,&#8217;
