Infamous Chelsea hooligan Jason Marriner has called on football fans to unite and protect the cenotaph ahead of the Israel-Palestine protests that clash with Remembrance Day.

Met Police are on 'high alert' as they fear more than a thousand football hooligans and far-Right thugs will descent on London during the pro-Palestine protests. A march calling for a ceasefire in the war in Gaza is planned for Remembered Day on Saturday.

However, there is no march planned for Remembrance Sunday – but police are fearful heightened tensions could lead to violence between the two sides. One man who won't be in London is Marriner, who instead will be watching from afar.

Sky Sports is bringing you 500 live football games to watch, as well access to Cricket, Golf, F1, Boxing, NFL, NBA and more across eight dedicated channels. Sky Sports is the only way to watch all the action this year.

£22 a month

"Save your energy, save it for next weekend, obviously every one is going to be in London," the notorious former Chelsea Headhunters man said, speaking from Thailand. "I'd like to say I wish I could be there, do you know what, I do with I could be there, because I've had enough of all this b******: It's outrageous.

"It's about time that we stood together and we're united, you know what I mean.

"Everyone knows the code, next weekend, make it our stand against these terrorists, absolute dog slags – that's the bottom line and there ain't no in between.

"This is outrageous, if they want to disrupted that, I'm sorry, its got to go to a different level. Big respect to everyone that's going to go and show their respect, and, you know what, do what you've got to do."

Marriner shot to notoriety when he was unveiled as Chelsea Headhunters, a football firm, Top Boy in a documentary by Donal MacIntyre. MacIntyre was able to break into Marriner's inner circle, where he listened to sickening stories about Auschwitz and witnessed racism first-hand – with owner of a tyre-fitting firm, Marriner, who has now created a new life for himself in Thailand and opened his own ex-pat shop, throwing up Nazi salutes.

Towards the end of the documentary, Marriner, and fellow Chelsea Headhunter Andy Frain, were preparing to ambush a peaceful march commemorating Bloody Sunday – one of the darkest moments during The Troubles in Northern Ireland, when 14 Catholics were shot dead.

MacIntyre witnessed Marriner side-by-side with the leader of the neo-Nazi terrorist organisation Combat 18, but police were able to stop the yobs before any violence could break-out.

Shortly after the documentary aired, Marriner was behind bars, and Judge Charles Byers said: "It's clear to me that you relish violence and will stop at nothing to go anywhere in pursuit of it, showing little, if any, regard for other people or for the law."

Marriner isn't the only football hooligan to call for action over the weekend, and one group, Football Lads Against Extremism, claims veterans have reached out and asked for their support "due to the threat from the far left and pro-Palestine supporters to disrupt the Remembrance Day parade."

They added: "All football lads up and down the country to join us in standing shoulder to shoulder with our veterans that fought for our freedom."

This weekend, Arsenal and Crystal Palace will host games on Saturday, while West Ham and Chelsea are playing at home on Sunday. Burnley, Everton, Nottingham Forest and Manchester City are all set to travel to the capital.
