Rival fans were sent into raptures on social media after nine-man Tottenham were comprehensively beaten by Chelsea at home.<\/p>\n
Ange Postecolgou’s side lost 4-1 to Chelsea in a game that will go down as a genuine Premier League classic.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The game had everything, including two red cards, five allowed and five disallowed goals and two massive injuried for Spurs.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Both Micky van de Ven and James Maddison picked up injuries in the first half, while Destiny Udogie and Cristian Romero were sent off by referee Michael Oliver.<\/p>\n
With all the woe falling Tottenham’s way, rival fans have taken to X to revel in what they believe is the end of Spurs title run.\u00a0<\/p>\n

One fan wrote on X that Spurs title race lasted just 11 weeks, while another put down the loss of Micky van de Ven as another reason the Premier League title will not go Ange Postecoglou’s way.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Others named Pochettino as the reason Tottenham will fall short again, while even more suggested that the North London outfit were only ever ‘pretenders.’\u00a0<\/p>\n
It was a painful day for Spurs as they crumbled at home after Romero and Udogie’s red cards.\u00a0<\/p>\n
However perhaps the biggest issuew will be the injuries to van de Ven and Maddison.<\/p>\n
It is unknown how bad each injury is at this time, however the Dutch centre half pulled up clutching his hamstring in clear discomfort while in a sprint race with Nicolas Jackson.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Maddison’s meanwhile seemed more innocuous as he went down untouched in the Chelsea area, and was forced to limp off before half time.\u00a0<\/p>\n
