The Sky Sports pundit appeared alongside Jamie Carragher and Dave Jones for Chelsea's trip to take on Tottenham and wore an oversized baggy top and the trousers to match.

The 34-year-old is not known to be conservative in his choice of clothing, often wearing bold designer outfits alongside expensive watches. One Chelsea fan pointed out who the trousers reminded him of by saying: "Daniel Sturridge channelling his inner MC Hammer on Sky tonight."

Sturridge appeared on Sky Sports after he failed to appear in a Los Angeles court in October over reward money he allegedly owes the man who found his missing dog.

He offered a reward for the safe return of his beloved pet Pomeranian Lucci back in July of 2019 after it was stolen. Foster Washington, also known as rapper Killa Fame, took credit for the return.

He later declared that he didn't receive the alleged £24,000 reward money that was promised, launching a civil lawsuit. After Sturridge failed to appear in court, an arrest warrant was issued in the US.

He said as part of a statement at the time: "The news yesterday was the first time my family and I heard that someone is continuing to try to get money from me, following the theft of my family's dog, Lucci, which happened 4 years ago.
