Marcus Rashford has told a Manchester United fan channel to ‘stop spreading malicious rumours’ in a response to a video which is titled questioning whether his Old Trafford future is in doubt.<\/p>\n
The England forward – who scored 30 goals last season – has suffered so far this campaign, netting just one goal in 14 appearances across all competitions.<\/p>\n
His form has come under questioning from fans, with questioning over whether the 26-year-old should be dropped from Erik ten Hag’s starting line-up.<\/p>\n
Well known fan channel The United Stand, has added to the questioning, with a video published on Monday titled: ‘Rashford’s future in doubt?’<\/p>\n
Rashford has not taken well to the video, hitting back in a reply on social media platform X.<\/p>\n

He told the fan channel to ‘STOP spreading malicious rumours’ in a post on social media<\/p>\n

The England international wrote: ‘Please STOP spreading malicious rumours.’<\/p>\n
In a description of their video on YouTube, the United Stand wrote: ‘Given Rashford’s injury against Fulham and his recent subpar performances, the question arises: should he still be a regular starter for Manchester United.’<\/p>\n
Rashford was recently criticised by manager Ten Hag after visiting a nightclub to celebrate his birthday – immediately after their 3-0 derby defeat to Man City at Old Trafford.\u00a0<\/p>\n
He came off the bench in the following 3-0 defeat to Newcastle in the Carabao Cup, but was left out of the squad that beat Fulham on Saturday, due to an injury in training.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The United Stand is one of the biggest fan channels of the club with 1.77 million followers on YouTube.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Ten Hag, over Rashford’s decision to go out after the loss to rivals Man City, said: ‘I spoke with him about it. It’s unacceptable. He apologised and that is it. For us it’s an internal matter.’<\/p>\n
Since that came to light Rashford has kept a low profile, as he didn’t go out with the players following their victory over Fulham at the weekend.\u00a0<\/p>\n
He did however face criticism from football supporters on social media after a video went viral of him not acknowledging fans at the train station\u00a0as Manchester United players began their journey to London for the clash at Craven Cottage.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Rashford has struggled for form this season with just one goal in 14 appearances to date\u00a0<\/p>\n
Despite outside concerns over his form, Ten Hag told club channel MUTV that he is ‘sure that he will be back on track’.\u00a0<\/p>\n
He added:’ I see him in training performing so well so I think that before long, he will be back on track. He will make a lot of goals for us and he will be so very important for us.<\/p>\n
