All he had to do was guide the ball into net as\u00a0Thomas Kaminski had already been beaten.<\/p>\n<p>However, Nunez fired over the bar and into row Z. His team-mates couldn&#8217;t believe what they had witnessed, putting their heads in their hands.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Thankfully for Nunez, the offside flag went up immediately after the incident as Salah was deemed offside. But, that didn&#8217;t stop fans from criticising the 24-year-old&#8217;s error.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/05\/18\/77429277-12713061-image-a-1_1699207787872.jpg\" height=\"424\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Darwin Nunez was left looking somewhat embarrassed after missing a sitter during Liverpool &#8216;s clash with Luton Town on Sunday evening<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/05\/18\/77429943-12713061-image-a-17_1699210281579.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Fans were less than impressed with him and took to social media to make their feelings known<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/05\/18\/77429999-12713061-image-a-25_1699210424006.jpg\" height=\"182\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/05\/18\/77430001-12713061-image-a-24_1699210420553.jpg\" height=\"146\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Your browser does not support iframes.<\/p>\n<p>Jamie Carragher, who was part of Sky&#8217;s commentary team, said: &#8216;He might be a little relieved the flag went up. I still don&#8217;t think people will forget it. I think Salah might have actually been onside.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, fans took to X to share their opinion. One social media user said: &#8216;I swear Nunez has an open goal miss every single game.&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Another added: &#8216;I have never considered Nunez to be a good striker. He lacks precision, too anxious to shoot the ball, clumsy and uncoordinated in front of goal.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>While one fan wrote: &#8216;I absolutely adore Darwin Nunez but that miss was unforgivable he needs to learn how to not whack everything, that was a simple tap in. Has to have lot more finesse in front of goal&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Another added: &#8216;Darwin will score complex goals and miss easy ones. I don\u2019t understand my striker&#8217;.\u00a0 While one said: &#8216;Oh for God sake we need to sell Darwin.
