Man City striker and his girlfriend hit a string of high-end stores in Paris as he extends his break after Ballon d&#8217;Or night out &#8211; and starts the day with a plush lunch<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Manchester City star finished second in the Ballon d&#8217;Or voting\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Haaland picked up the award for\u00a0the best striker in the world\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Listen to the latest episode of Mail Sport&#8217;s podcast &#8216;It&#8217;s All Kicking Off!&#8217;\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Erling Haaland made the most of his visit to Paris for the Ballon d&#8217;Or ceremony by taking in some designer shops with his girlfriend.<\/p>\n<p>The Norwegian finished second in the voting behind Lionel Messi on Monday and spent the following day shopping with his partner,\u00a0Isabel Haugseng Johansen.<\/p>\n<p>The pair dined at the plush L&#8217;Avenue restaurant, a short walk away from the Arc de Triomphe on Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>Considered one of the poshest eateries in Paris, albeit in an admittedly crowded field, the restaurant has a reputation for an excellent spot for people-watching.<\/p>\n<p>Located across the road from a row of boutique shops, dining at L&#8217;Avenue unsurprisingly does not come cheap, with the restaurant rated as &#8216;\u00a3\u00a3\u00a3\u00a3&#8217; on Google.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/01\/14\/77271607-0-image-a-13_1698847344954.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Erling Haaland made the most of his visit to Paris for the Ballon d&#8217;Or ceremony by taking in some designer shops with his girlfriend<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/01\/14\/77271605-0-image-m-15_1698847373332.jpg\" height=\"594\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The Norwegian and\u00a0Isabel Haugseng Johansen shopped at a string of high-end stores including Dior, Isabel Marant, Off-White, and Burberry<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/01\/14\/77271603-0-image-m-17_1698847418214.jpg\" height=\"566\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The pair concluded their shopping spree and returned to their hotel at approximately 8pm<\/p>\n<p>Your browser does not support iframes.<\/p>\n<p>Considering Haaland is understood to be\u00a0earning in the region of \u00a3400,000-per-week at City, the bill is unlikely to have proved too much of a concern for him.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, the Norwegian lifted the lid on his 6,000 calories-a-day diet, which included included cow heart.<\/p>\n<p>During his Parisian sojourn, he appeared to opt for something slightly more refined and shared a snap of an oyster platter.<\/p>\n<p>Haaland and Johansen then moved on from L&#8217;Avenue to visit\u00a0several high end shops including\u00a0Dior, Isabel Marant, Off-White, and Burberry.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, the couple were pictured heading for dinner after the Ballon d&#8217;Or ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>The City striker was pipped to the prize\u00a0 by Messi despite his record-breaking debut season for the Premier League\u00a0champion.<\/p>\n<p>Haaland scored 52 goals in 53 games last season, as City won the league title, the FA Cup and the Champions League.<\/p>\n<p>However, Messi as expected took the Ballon d&#8217;Or prize, after he finally led Argentina to glory in the World Cup in Qatar last December.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/01\/14\/77271925-0-Haaland_and_Johansen_dined_at_the_plush_restaurant_L_Avenue_in_t-a-22_1698847983608.jpg\" height=\"1025\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Haaland and Johansen dined at the plush restaurant L&#8217;Avenue in the French capital\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/01\/14\/77271635-0-image-a-19_1698847560305.jpg\" height=\"596\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Haaland and Johansen were pictured heading out for dinner after the Ballon d&#8217;Or ceremony concluded on Monday night\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Haaland, however, didn&#8217;t go home empty handed.<\/p>\n<p>The 23-year-old claimed the Gerd Muller Trophy for the best striker, following his stunning debut season.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;It\u2019s my job, that\u2019s why I\u2019m here. It\u2019s what I\u2019m good at,&#8217; Haaland said of his goalscoring exploits.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;If I had to give my advice I\u2019d say stay hungry, be in the moment, stay sharp.
