Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta showed his true colours during a post-match interaction with Moises Caicedo, with whom he was visibly unhappy during Sunday’s dramatic draw against Chelsea. The Gunners came from two goals behind to steal a point from Stamford Bridge, and Arteta was as animated as ever in the dugout.

Arsenal deservedly fell behind in the 15th minute through Cole Palmer’s penalty, awarded after a Mykhaylo Mudryk header cannoned off William Saliba’s outstretched arm from close quarters.

David Raya had an evening to forget between the sticks, and his positioning came into question when Mudryk unintentionally lobbed the Spanish goalkeeper from the left flank, doubling Chelsea’s lead.

Mauricio Pochettino looked to have orchestrated a masterclass to end Arsenal’s unbeaten start to the campaign, but the visitors ended with a flourish.

Declan Rice profited from a Robert Sanchez mistake to get one back from range with 13 minutes left. Six minutes from time, Leandro Trossard equalised shortly after replacing Gabriel Martinelli.

Throughout the heated London derby, Arteta fumed at Caicedo for some of his hard-hitting tackles on Arsenal players.

However, the Gunners boss made it clear that he will always leave his grievances on the pitch, warmly embracing Caicedo after full-time.
