He will be going through surgery and then a treatment program that will be determined later. Return stronger @neymarjr.&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/19\/08\/76725099-0-Neymar_will_have_surgery_after_suffering_a_ruptured_ACL_and_a_me-a-1_1697700614850.jpg\" height=\"464\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Neymar suffered a serious knee injury on international duty for Brazil on Tuesday evening<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/19\/08\/76741577-0-image-a-2_1697700629537.jpg\" height=\"1037\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>However, his club Al-Hilal have been criticised for their choice of graphic when wishing their star player well after they used a photo of him screaming on the floor in pain<\/p>\n<p>However, their well wishes were accompanied with a graphic of Neymar screaming in agony while holding his knee following the incident on Tuesday evening, leading to some people to criticise the club.<\/p>\n<p>One fan said: &#8216;Sorry but why would you make this graphic,&#8217; before another added: &#8216;This picture choice is brutal y&#8217;all come on now.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>A further supporter quipped: &#8216;Need a new marketing team&#8217; and another fan added: &#8216;Why they using this photo?&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>A final supporter agreed as they also said: &#8216;Why would you use that picture of him in agony?&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>After news of his injury was confirmed, Neymar wrote on Instagram: &#8216;<span>It&#8217;s a very sad moment, the worst. I know I&#8217;m strong but this time I&#8217;ll need my (family and friends) even more.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#8216;It&#8217;s not easy going through injury and surgery, imagine going through all that again after 4 months of recovery.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I have faith, even too much&#8230; But the strength I put in the hands of God so that he can renew mine. Thanks for the messages of support and love.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Neymar knew something was wrong as soon as he went down on Tuesday.
