{"id":296084,"date":"2023-10-13T19:06:32","date_gmt":"2023-10-13T19:06:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sportstons.com\/?p=296084"},"modified":"2023-10-13T19:06:32","modified_gmt":"2023-10-13T19:06:32","slug":"logan-paul-makes-weight-for-grudge-match-with-dillon-danis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sportstons.com\/boxing\/logan-paul-makes-weight-for-grudge-match-with-dillon-danis\/","title":{"rendered":"Logan Paul MAKES weight for grudge match with Dillon Danis"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Logan Paul MAKES weight after arriving late to public weigh-in wearing balaclava&#8230; while Dillon Danis punches barrier between them during final face off and demands &#8216;we do this for real&#8217;<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Logan Paul and Dillon Danis will go toe-to-toe at the AO Arena on Saturday night\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Paul weighed in at 194.4lbs for the bout, while Danis tipped the scales at 195lbs\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Danis was angry with Paul after he missed the deadline for their weigh-in earlier<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Logan Paul<span>\u00a0has successfully made weight for his showdown with Dillon Danis<\/span>\u00a0<span>after the MMA star raised concerns over whether the fight would go ahead as planned.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>However, Danis was forced to wait at the side of the stage for over 10 minutes before the star of the public weigh-in as Logan failed to arrive on time.<\/p>\n<p>Danis was furious with Paul and said the WWE star was taking liberties before tipping\u00a0the scales at 195lbs ahead of his highly anticipated bout this weekend.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Paul &#8211; who is looking to defend his fianc\u00e9e&#8217;s honour &#8211; arrived at the press event wearing a balaclava to cover up his cut from Thursday&#8217;s press conference.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Paul\u00a0weighed in at 194.4lbs and showed off his lean physique before facing off with Danis in the Misfits cage.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/13\/18\/76531159-12628475-Logan_Paul_has_successfully_made_weight_for_his_showdown_with_Di-a-16_1697218488411.jpg\" height=\"402\" width=\"306\"><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/13\/18\/76531763-12628475-Danis_was_forced_to_wait_at_the_side_of_the_stage_for_over_10_mi-a-15_1697218488383.jpg\" height=\"402\" width=\"306\"><\/p>\n<p>Logan Paul has successfully made weight for his showdown with Dillon Danis after the MMA star raised concerns over whether the fight would go ahead as planned<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/13\/18\/76531871-12628475-image-a-23_1697218608790.jpg\" height=\"634\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The pair completed their final face off inside the Misfits cage on Friday afternoon<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/13\/18\/76531879-12628475-image-a-24_1697218650299.jpg\" height=\"634\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Danis was furious and demanded they do a &#8216;proper face off&#8217; rather than in the cage\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Fans will be delighted to see both boxers on stage and fit to fight after the chaos that unfolded during Thursday&#8217;s press conference.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Tensions boiled over on stage with Danis striking Paul on the head with his microphone before throwing bottles of Prime into the audience.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Paul&#8217;s face was cut from the incident but he appeared to be fine during the weigh-in on Friday afternoon.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>However, Danis did cause some concern after taking to social media to say his bout with Paul was &#8216;off&#8217; after the WWE star &#8216;missed weight&#8217;.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Danis launched a series of posts on social media insisting Paul had breached regulations over their bout before tweeting that he will face Jake instead.<\/p>\n<p>Replying to some earlier trash talk from the WWE star, Danis took to social media to say: &#8216;The fight is off you missed weight.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Paul replied with a video of him on the scales coming in at 194.3lbs which caught the ire of his opponent who said: &#8216;He claims he made weight, but it doesn&#8217;t count. The rules are the rules.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;If he wants to be viewed as a genuine boxer, he needs to follow the 11 o&#8217;clock deadline. Look at the time he posted. It&#8217;s not fair; I had to follow the rules, and he isn&#8217;t an exception.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>He continued in another post: &#8216;The commission&#8217;s rules state that weigh-ins are between 10 and 11. If you miss the 11 o&#8217;clock deadline, you&#8217;ve missed weight. He missed the weight, but then called misfits and changed the rules to give himself an extra hour.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;We should be on an even playing field, he shouldn&#8217;t get special treatment. He\u2019s already got more juice than Tropicana. He missed the weight, plain and simple. They\u2019re trying to handicap me as much as possible.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Danis didn&#8217;t stop there. He went on to add: &#8216;This isn\u2019t complaining. What is fair is fair. No drug tests, breaking the weigh-in rules \u2013 I ain\u2019t nobody\u2019s b****. I run the show.
