{"id":295974,"date":"2023-10-12T12:24:06","date_gmt":"2023-10-12T12:24:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sportstons.com\/?p=295974"},"modified":"2023-10-12T12:24:06","modified_gmt":"2023-10-12T12:24:06","slug":"tommy-fury-gets-pre-fight-haircut-before-his-grudge-match-with-ksi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sportstons.com\/boxing\/tommy-fury-gets-pre-fight-haircut-before-his-grudge-match-with-ksi\/","title":{"rendered":"Tommy Fury gets pre-fight haircut before his grudge-match with KSI"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Tommy Fury gets pre-fight haircut and a facial treatment before his boxing grudge-match with KSI, after he dodged public workout carnage which saw his rival SPIT at his dad John<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Tommy Fury fights YouTube star KSI at the Manchester Arena on Saturday night<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The half-brother of Tyson was pictured getting a fresh trim ahead of the fight\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><span>He is heavily backed as the favourite ahead of the much-anticipated fight<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tommy Fury has visited the barbers for a haircut and a facial treatment as he freshens himself up for his huge grudge match with KSI this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>The former Love Island star is heavily backed as the favourite for his highly-anticipated but with the YouTube star-turned-boxer at the AO Arena in Manchester on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Their feud took another step on Wednesday during the public workout sessions, in which KSI &#8211; real name Olajide Olatunji &#8211; spit at Tommy&#8217;s dad John.<\/p>\n<p>Tommy, half-brother of world heavyweight champion Tyson, allowed himself some downtime from training, as he was pictured having a pamper at Fade Master Barbers in Cheshire.<\/p>\n<p>He was seen getting a facial treatment with a trim to his beard, as well as a haircut, before he left the barbers with a new fresh look &#8211; less than 48 hours before the day of his big fight.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/12\/12\/76471771-12623163-image-m-43_1697111068257.jpg\" height=\"569\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Tommy Fury got a fresh trim in Cheshire as he prepares himself for his fight with KSI<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/12\/12\/76471757-12623163-image-a-44_1697111089766.jpg\" height=\"465\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Fury was also seen getting a facial treatment as he had some downtime from training<\/p>\n<p>Fury&#8217;s public workout session was the scene of carnage on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>After working up a sweat on the pads, Tommy sat down for an interview with his dad, but their conversation was interrupted by KSI goading his opponent from the overlooking balcony.<\/p>\n<p>The YouTuber-turned-boxer refused to stop, and Fury Snr finally ran out of patience. Getting to his feet, he threw a bottle up towards the balcony, forcing KSI to duck for cover.<\/p>\n<p>Having avoided being hit by the bottle, KSI then leaned over the balcony and spat in John&#8217;s direction.<\/p>\n<p>He failed to find his target, but angry words were exchanged between the pair as tensions continue to rise ahead of Saturday&#8217;s main event.<\/p>\n<p>John is no stranger to getting involved in his son&#8217;s fights in some way, shape or form.<\/p>\n<p>He was also nearly involved in a fight with Jake and Logan Paul&#8217;s dad, Greg, during the eventful open workout.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>After Wednesday&#8217;s open workouts had been completed, John took centre stage and began to shout &#8216;I&#8217;ll wipe the floor with all of you&#8217; into a large group of people, later on in the day after his angry exchange with KSI.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/11\/19\/76440803-12620293-image-a-12_1697049005952.jpg\" height=\"637\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>John Fury (centre) points up at KSI after launching a bottle at him on Wednesday night<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/11\/20\/76440807-12620293-image-a-23_1697051878225.jpg\" height=\"574\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>KSI ducked for cover as Fury Snr threw a bottle up towards the balcony he was standing on<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/11\/20\/76442889-12620293-image-a-22_1697051862816.jpg\" height=\"575\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>KSI then spat from the balcony in John&#8217;s direction, and angry words were exchanged between the pair<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/12\/12\/76470819-12623163-image-a-30_1697110388116.jpg\" height=\"422\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Tommy Fury and KSI both go into Saturday&#8217;s main event with undefeated records<\/p>\n<p>Greg seemed to take John&#8217;s words as a direct challenge and could be heard responding: &#8216;Come on John, let&#8217;s go!&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>John was in no mood to back down, replying &#8216;If you think you can take it, Greg Paul, hey, I&#8217;ll let you hit me first!&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Greg hit back with a crude comment that proved the final straw for Fury Snr who started to approach Greg aggressively, forcing security to step in.<\/p>\n<p>John was urged to &#8216;calm down&#8217; by heavyweight contender Derek Chisora, but he appeared reluctant to listen as he vowed to &#8216;tear his f*****g head off&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>He failed to find his target, but angry words were exchanged between the pair as tensions continue to rise ahead of Saturday&#8217;s main event.<\/p>\n<p>Tommy Fury also this week showed off his incredibly body transformation, comparing a picture of him from nine weeks ago\u00a0<span>standing in a pair of swimming trunks by the water alongside one of him recently inside a gym.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/11\/12\/76423935-12618607-image-a-10_1697022804935.jpg\" height=\"762\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Tommy Fury showed off his incredible body transformation ahead of his fight with KSI<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/11\/12\/76423939-12618607-image-a-11_1697022808753.jpg\" height=\"110\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>But his opponent was left unimpressed by his new look and said he would still knock him out<\/p>\n<p>The latest picture shows Fury flexing his muscles, with his physique significantly improving as he showed off a ripped torso and abdominals, bulging biceps and much bigger shoulders and chest.<\/p>\n<p>Writing a caption alongside the stunning transformation, Fury insisted: &#8216;A nine week transformation\u2026 one thing about me, I don\u2019t cut corners.
