Hospitality is still hosted in the Eric Morecambe Suite, named after the late, great comedian who was the club&#8217;s most famous supporter decades ago. And the media room is in the Nick Owen suite, named after the 1980s breakfast TV presenter who spent nine years as club chairman until 2017.<\/p>\n<p><span>LUTON WILL NOT FORGIVE AND FORGET FA<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Luton fans have still not forgiven the Football Association for the 30-point deduction in 2008 that led to relegation from League One and an eventual descent into non-league football, before their unique climb from the fifth tier to the top flight. It advertised a local firm of solicitors, offering a wide range of legal services.<\/p>\n<p><span>SPURS UNPOPULAR &#8216;MUDDY PINK&#8217; KIT\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>There were audible groans from away supporters when Tottenham players ran out in their drab-looking third kit. Officially called Taupe Haze, the beige-pink combination has also been described as capuccino or simply muddy pink. As one press box wag observed, \u201cIt looks like what happens to your Sunday team&#8217;s white kit when a rogue brown item is left in the washing machine.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span>ANDROS TOWNSEND TRAINS WITH LUTON\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Rob Edwards revealed that former Spurs, Newcastle and Palace winger Andros Townsend is training with Luton with a view to signing up. The former England man has been a free agent since leaving Everton last season, and played on Friday for Luton&#8217;s development team in their Premier League cup game against Leeds at York. Asked if he might be signing, Edwards said: \u201cHe played the full 90 minutes but we&#8217;ll see.
