Chelsea summer signing Romeo Lavia predicted his teammate Cole Palmer would score his first goal for the club in their 4-1 win over Burnley.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Palmer netted a cool penalty as the Blues pulled away from their oppositon with three second half goals, confirming a second win in the same week for Mauricio Pochettino.\u00a0<\/p>\n
It was the England under-21 international’s first goal in Chelsea blue, and he also went on to provide an assist for Nicolas Jackson late on.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Now, Belgian midfielder Lavia has released a picture of his messages with Palmer on his Instagram story saying he knew the goal was coming.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Lavia released a screenshot of his snapchat messages with his teammate before the game.\u00a0<\/p>\n
He wrote: ‘First Prem Goal today!, I can feel it’\u00a0<\/p>\n
With Palmer replying: ‘let’s gerittttt’<\/p>\n
Both youngsters were signed in the summer as part of Chelsea’s radical new transfer policy targetting youth.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Palmer joined from Manchester City for \u00a342.5m while Lavia arrived from relegated Southampton for \u00a358m.\u00a0<\/p>\n
While the Englishman has started life brightly in West London the Belgian has struggled with injuries, not playing a single minute so far this season.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Pochettino will be hoping he can get the best out of Lavia when he returns to the fold, as Chelsea’s recent form indicates they may be on the up.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
