Mauricio Pochettino previews Chelsea's clash with Burnley<\/h3>\n

Jose Mourinho admits he is already plotting a move to Saudi Arabia having endured a tough start to the Serie A season with Roma. The former Chelsea and Manchester United manager reportedly turned down a switch to the Pro League in the summer but says he is \u2018convinced\u2019 he will work there in the future.<\/p>\n

Mourinho\u2019s Roma have had a terrible start to the campaign, sitting 13th in the Italian top-flight after just two wins from seven games. It is the Giallorossi\u2019s worst start to a season since the introduction of three points for a win in the mid-1990s.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The future of Mourinho is widely believed to be in doubt over Roma\u2019s form, despite him taking the club to successive European finals in his first two years. The 60-year-old is seemingly already preparing for his next job and is excited at the prospect of moving to Saudi Arabia.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He says he will go to the country soon for some \u2018free time\u2019 but plans to take up a coaching role in the future. In July, the ex-Tottenham tactician joined the board of directors at the Mahd Academy, an organisation that works on talent spotting in Saudi Arabia.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“I will go to Saudi Arabia in some free time, but I am convinced that I will work there. I don’t know when, but I am pretty sure of it,\u201d Mourinho told the Egyptian channel MBC, which is owned by Saudi MBC Group.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“No one knows the future, but I will definitely do this [working in Saudi Arabia].”<\/span><\/p>\n

Mourinho admits he was intrigued by some of the big names moving to the Pro League during the summer. Karim Benzema, N\u2019Golo Kante, Fabinho and Sadio Mane have all joined Cristiano Ronaldo in ditching European football for contracts in Saudi Arabia.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Doors are always open for me in Saudi Arabia. I want to feel the development there,” Mourinho continued.<\/p>\n

“Cristiano was the first to go there and give a different perspective immediately. The players thought at first that it was a one-man show but they realised in the summer that everything was really changing.<\/p>\n
