The Magpies triumphed 4-1 over Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday evening in their first home Champions League match for nearly 20 years.<\/p>\n<p>Goals came from Miguel Almiron, Dan Burn, Sean Longstaff and Fabian Schar while Lucas Hernandez got the sole PSG goal in the second half. But the visitors were rarely able to get their talisman Mbappe on the ball in advantageous positions, with Luis Enrique\u2019s side struggling against the famed Newcastle press.<\/p>\n<p>Mbappe\u2019s fellow forwards Goncalo Ramos, Ousmane Dembele and Randal Kolo Muani were unable to hold onto the ball long enough to sustain possession in the Newcastle half, while the Ligue 1 champions\u2019 buildup was constantly picked apart by Eddie Howe\u2019s outfit on a historic night for the side.<\/p>\n<p>Mbappe looked visibly frustrated at his team\u2019s inability to supply him with opportunities, as he cut a forlorn figure in the middle of the pitch amid Newcastle\u2019s celebrations.
