Dan Burn celebrated Newcastle’s famous Champions League victory over PSG by dancing with Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards.

The Magpies beat the French champions 4-1 on a memorable night at St James’ Park in what was their first home game in Europe’s elite club competition for 20 years.

Burn – a boyhood Newcastle fan and former season ticket holder – netted his side’s second after Miguel Almiron had opened the scoring.

Fellow homegrown hero Sean Longstaff added a third before Lucas Hernandez scored a consolation for the visitors, with Fabian Schar making it 4-1 in injury time.

And, following the victory, Burn performed an infamous TikTok dance with Carragher and Richards.

Burn went viral for doing the ‘noodle’ dance earlier this year and left the pundits in hysterics

Having spoken to the pundits post-match, who were on duty for CBS Sports, Burn was encouraged to pull out the move which has become known as the ‘noodle dance’.

The 31-year-old went viral earlier this year when he pulled out the hilarious move in the Newcastle dressing room after they reached the Carabao Cup final.

His moves were just as impressive this time, as Carragher and Richards hilariously tried to keep up with the defender as he showed them how it was done.

The trio then broke out into laughter as Carragher shouted: ‘We are going to smash the internet. TikTok, here we come!’

When earlier discussing the game, Burn could barely believe what he had been a part of.

He added: ‘Crazy. It has not sunk in, I am a bit speechless. We wanted to entertain the crowd and get the crowd behind us, but we did well.

‘We knew PSG were not going to change the way they play. The times to play high up the pitch (came) and we had the crowd pushing us, we had that for the last goal with the crowd pushing us on for Fabs (Fabian Schar’s) goal.

‘It is like dream. I am waiting for someone to wake me up, I am waiting for the bubble to pop.

‘We have a great group and what the gaffer has done with the philosophy we have got (is amazing).’
