The revolving door at Chelsea continues to turn – with a trio of major, off-field new faces announced to staff this afternoon.

In an email update, the club’s chief executive Chris Jurasek confirmed the departure of president of business Tom Glick, who had been in the role for little more than a year.

And he also unveiled three executive appointments, as the Premier League giants’ American owners continue to ring the changes.

The arrival of Jurasek, recruited from a company funded by Clearlake Capital – the private-equity firm that fronted the takeover alongside co-chairman Todd Boehly – was announced at the end of May.

He has wasted no time in carrying out a revamp as the club, which has invested a staggering £1bn in transfers since the 2022 takeover, seeks to increase revenues.

In the first of three, high-profile and no-doubt costly moves, Jason Gannon has been named chief operating officer. He has previously worked as managing director of SoFi Stadium – the stunning home of the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers.

Gannon is expected to lead the way on the club’s stadium redevelopment plans.

Adriel Lares has been appointed chief financial officer. He has joined the club from Stash, a San Francisco-based financial services firm.

Ex-Manchester United sponsorship director Casper Stylsvig will arrive from AC Milan as chief revenue officer next month.

A Dane, he left Old Trafford after eight years to join Fulham in 2016.

As Mail Sport previously reported, the club are looking to surge revenue streams following years of relying on previous owner Roman Abramovich for support.

The new team may face a stiff task, with Chelsea enduring an underwhelming start to the campaign. Despite a much-needed 2-0 win at Fulham on Monday night, they currently lie in a lowly 11th place.

As part of the changes, staff were informed sales and marketing staff will merge in a modern, open-spaced office while Chelsea branding will be added to all lobbies as the club seek to become more corporate-acting.

Glick’s departure was announced in May and it has been confirmed that he will leave at the end of this month, while director of communications and public affairs Toby Craig – who worked with Glick at Manchester City – will exit the club at the end of the year.

Boehly and Clearlake had placed Glick, formerly of Derby County and the NFL’s Carolina Panthers, in charge of managing the club’s global commercial strategy, driving revenue growth and enhancing fan engagement.

Glick’s appointment in 2022 came after Bruce Buck (the club’s former chairman), Marina Granovskaia (sporting director), Petr Cech (technical and performance advisor) and Guy Lawrence (chief executive) all left following the takeover.
