Erik ten Hag is reportedly set to receive a hefty pay rise at Manchester United, with negotiations over a new contract poised to begin over the coming weeks. The Dutchman currently earns around \u00a39million per year but would potentially be in line to see his salary increase to around \u00a314m, which would put him among the Red Devils’ highest earners.<\/p>\n

It would also make Ten Hag one of the Premier League’s best-paid managers, although his potential new salary is still less than some of his peers on the touchline. A select group of bosses reportedly earn over \u00a310m per year at their respective clubs, with the highest-profile names earning significantly more than those near the bottom of the pecking order.<\/p>\n

Andoni Iraola joined Bournemouth over the summer to replace Gary O’Neil and is currently thought to be among the Premier League’s lowest-paid managers. It is claimed that he is earning around \u00a31m per season after signing a two-year contract following the expiry of his previous deal at Rayo Vallecano.<\/p>\n

Sheffield United boss Paul Heckingbottom is a man under pressure and could become one of this season’s earliest managerial casualties if the Blades fail to hit form quickly. He is said to be pocketing an annual salary of \u00a31m at Bramall Lane, having been in charge of the club since late 2021.<\/p>\n

Roberto De Zerbi has established himself as one of Europe’s finest emerging head coaches during his time at Brighton, with the Italian having done an excellent job at the Amex Stadium thus far. However, he is only earning around \u00a31.5m per season with another \u00a3500,000 available in bonuses, putting him near the bottom of the list.<\/p>\n

Nottingham Forest have kept the faith in Steve Cooper since their promotion to the Premier League in 2022, with the Welshman successfully keeping them up at the end of last season. He is believed to be among the division’s lowest earners with a salary of \u00a31.5m per season, with his contract set to run until the summer of 2025.<\/p>\n

Burnley boss Vincent Kompany has endured a difficult start to life back in the Premier League, with the Clarets still searching for their first victory of the new campaign. He was the highest-paid manager in the Championship last season with an annual salary of around \u00a32m and will have received bonuses for achieving promotion at the first attempt.<\/p>\n
