Ben Chilwell will have a scan on Thursday to assess the hamstring injury he suffered against Brighton.<\/p>\n
Defender Chilwell was forced off in injury time of Chelsea’s 1-0 Carabao Cup win over the Seagulls on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n
He received treatment on the pitch before he was able to walk around the field alongside members of Chelsea’s medical staff as he came off.<\/p>\n
Chilwell has suffered hamstring injuries in the past including a major one last season which forced him to miss the World Cup in Qatar. His latest setback is understood to be to the same hamstring.<\/p>\n
Chelsea will be sweating on the results of tests to determine the extent of the injury.<\/p>\n

Carney Chukwuemeka and Benoit Badiashile have also been out injured but are back in partial team training after knee and hamstring issues respectively.<\/p>\n
