Sofyan Amrabat showed his selfless nature after revealing he told Erik ten Hag he would play anywhere to help Manchester United. The midfielder made his full debut for the Red Devils as a makeshift left-back in Tuesday\u2019s 3-0 win over Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Amrabat performed well in the unnatural role during the comfortable triumph. The Fiorentina loanee was given the freedom to drift into midfield to create an overload when United had possession.\u00a0<\/p>\n
United tried all summer to sign Amrabat and finally secured a temporary deal on the final day of the transfer window. And Ten Hag appears to have added an excellent personality to his squad after it emerged that Amrabat has offered to play wherever he is needed.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cSince I was a child, I worked hard for this, I worked very hard for this my whole career, my whole life,\u201d the 27-year-old told Sky Sports. \u201cIt\u2019s amazing to play here. I told the manager I will play wherever the team needs me, even if it\u2019s a goalkeeper.<\/p>\n
