Chelsea co-owner Behdad Eghbali made a swift exit from Stamford Bridge on Sunday – ignoring fans in the process.

Eghbali is the co-founder of Clearlake Capital who are a private equity firm that own 60% of the club having joined forces with Todd Boehly. Things haven't gone to plan since the takeover, with over £1billion spent and miserable results across the board.

A clip posted to social media after Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins scored the only goal of the game in a third defeat for Mauricio Pochettino, Eghbali wasn't hanging around in getting to his car. Moving with intent, Eghbali did his best to slalom through disgruntled fans and ignore a young supporter who followed him before he reached the private vehicles.

After Nicolas Jackson picked up a suspension, following his fifth yellow card of the season for dissent, Pochettino said: "We need to grow up as a team, not only in an individual way. A player like Nicholas is so young and is feeling his way into the Premier League and learning.

"He needs time, and in this type of game we are competing and want to win. But the players, when they are young, need to learn with experience and when they make a mistake.
