The lack of broad support within the organisation is the reason behind this decision.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Dutch side have struggled of late and are winless in four matches &#8211; which was looking to be five games before the Sunday fixture was curtailed.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/24\/21\/75777751-12555747-Ajax_sporting_director_Sven_Mislintat_has_reportedly_shocked_the-a-51_1695588325144.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Ajax fired their Director of Football Sven Mislintat with immediate effect on Sunday night<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/24\/21\/75783715-12555747-Ajax_s_Eredivisie_game_against_Feyenoord_was_abandoned_at_3_0_to-a-52_1695588382680.jpg\" height=\"425\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Ajax&#8217;s league game against Feyenoord was abandoned after fans threw flares on the pitch\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Head coach Steijin was not said to be present during the time of Mislintat&#8217;s warning on Saturday, with &#8216;several people confirming&#8217; the story to Dutch news outlet De Telegraaf.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday, Pier Eringa, the supervisor board chairman, told staff that Mislintat would &#8216;operate from the shadows and no longer be present at matches&#8217;.
