Manchester United fans have slammed the decision to award Bayern Munich a penalty during their Champions League tie after Christian Eriksen was penalised for handball.<\/p>\n
Bayern Munich appealed for a spot kick after\u00a0Dayot Upamecano’s header from a corner struck the arm of the Danish midfielder.<\/p>\n
Swedish referee\u00a0Glenn Nyberg initially opted against awarding a penalty to the German champions, who were leading 2-1 after goals from Leroy Sane and Serge Gnabry.<\/p>\n
The official changed his decision following a VAR review, with Harry Kane putting Bayern 3-1 up by converting the penalty in the group stage clash.<\/p>\n
Man United fans criticised the awarding of the penalty, noting the short distance between Upamecano and Eriksen.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Another fan, however, suggested Eriksen had been at fault for giving the ball away in the build-up to the incident.<\/p>\n
