United eventually fell to a 4-3 defeat after twice fighting back towards the end of a thrilling contest.<\/p>\n<p>Former Man United and Bayern Munich midfielder Hargreaves, speaking on TNT Sports, was shocked by Onana&#8217;s error for the opening goal.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;You just have to save that. I don\u2019t know if he doesn\u2019t get his feet set, but that ball just cannot go in. He knows he can\u2019t make that mistake.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Onana was among the high-profile additions at Man United this summer after joining from Inter Milan for \u00a347m.<\/p>\n<p>The 27-year-old signed a five-year contract with the goalkeeper succeeding David de Gea, who left the club at the end of his deal in June.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;This is a nightmare scenario for Onana,&#8217; former Man United defender Ferdinand said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;He is as confident as you like with his feet. We look at some of the passes, but as a goalkeeper you are paid to come in there and make saves.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;His reaction afterwards tells you that he should really save this.
