Football fans have joked former Leeds United shot-stopper Bailey Peacock-Farrell thought he was playing Rugby League – after he tackled a Brondby player to the ground.

Peacock-Farrell, who is currently on the books of Burnley, was shipped out on loan to Danish side AGF over the summer – the same club Jack Wilshere turned out for in 2022.

And in a clip that's gone viral on social media, Peacock-Farrell can be seen slipping inside the box, with Brondby star Mathias Kvistgaarden reacting first. However, determined to stop a goal, the Northern Irishman wrapped his arms around the Dane and hauled him to the ground.
