Week 1 is always good for a few surprises, even if a lot of them ultimately end up being less shocking when we look back later in the year.<\/p>\n

That said, one development we are almost certain will matter now and<\/em> later: What is feared to be a torn Achilles suffered by Aaron Rodgers just a few minutes into his New York Jets debut on Monday Night Football<\/em>. That staggering buzzkill obviously carries the potential gravity to permanently impact Gang Green’s season.<\/p>\n

Rodgers’ injury is clearly the biggest story in the league entering Week 2. While much has transpired since the Kickoff Game last Thursday night, the 2023 NFL campaign is just getting started. I promise not to overreact to some of the strange results from Week 1, but a few things I saw simply can’t be ignored.<\/p>\n
