{"id":292111,"date":"2023-09-11T00:35:23","date_gmt":"2023-09-11T00:35:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sportstons.com\/?p=292111"},"modified":"2023-09-11T00:35:23","modified_gmt":"2023-09-11T00:35:23","slug":"ole-gunnar-solskjaer-rejects-international-offer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sportstons.com\/soccer\/ole-gunnar-solskjaer-rejects-international-offer\/","title":{"rendered":"Ole Gunnar Solskjaer rejects international offer"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ole Gunnar Solskjaer rejects chance to take first managerial role since Manchester United sacking after offer from international side<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Solskjaer has been out of a role since being sacked at Man United two years ago<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>He has revealed that he turned down an approach from Norway&#8217;s women&#8217;s team<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The United legend says that he is &#8216;not ready&#8217; to take such a role at the moment<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Former Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has rejected an offer to take charge of the Norway women&#8217;s team.<span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Solskjaer has been out of a role since being sacked at Manchester United in November 2021, just a month shy of three years in the Old Trafford hotseat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The 50-year-old has been linked with vacancies at Burnley and Leicester but has so far remained\u00a0patient when it comes to taking a new role.<\/p>\n<p>And he has now turned down an approach from the women&#8217;s team of his home nation, who are looking to replace Hege Riise.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Yes, I have spoken to the association about the job as national coach, of course I have,&#8217; Solskjaer told Norwegian outlet NRK. &#8216;They have asked.
