Goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey and wing-back Wes Burns have withdrawn from the Wales squad to play Latvia on Monday.<\/p>\n
The pair are out of the squad through injuries, and Wales will have to play bottom of the group Latvia without them.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Red Dragons beat Latvia 1-0 in March courtesy of a goal from striker Kiefer Moore, but have lost their last two Euro 2024 qualifiers to Armenia and Turkey.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A post on the official Wales Twitter\u00a0account about the injuries said: ‘Wayne Hennessey and Wes Burns will not be travelling with the squad to Latvia due to injuries.’<\/p>\n
Ipswich fullback Burns came on as a second half substitute in Wales’ 0-0 draw with South Korea but Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Hennessey did not make an appearance.<\/p>\n
Leicester’s Danny Ward started against the Koreans and he is expected to keep his place for the important clash with Latvia.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Joe Morrell and Kieffer Moore are already suspended for a game Wales need to win to keep alive hopes of automatic qualification for next summer’s Euro 2024 finals in Germany.<\/p>\n
Luton Town skipper Joe Lockyer and Leeds winger Daniel James are also both ruled out through injury.\u00a0<\/p>\n
