first-team training with Getafe<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The Manchester United forward pulled on seven-year-old boots in training<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Greenwood previously had his sponsorship deal with Nike ended\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Mason Greenwood laced up in seven-year-old Nike boots during a training session with his new Getafe team-mates as he attempts to rebuild his career.<\/p>\n<p>The Manchester United forward is on-loan at the LaLiga club after it was mutually decided that his future remained away from the English giants following an internal investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Greenwood previously had charges of attempted rape and assault dropped by the Crown Prosecution Services and the player denied any wrongdoing.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>However, his original arrest in January 2022 and subsequent charges led to the player being suspended by United while other companies ended sponsorship deals with the 21-year-old.<\/p>\n<p>Greenwood remains without a boot sponsor after Nike previously dropped the striker from their roster of footballers and later decided against renewing his deal.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/08\/14\/75216057-12496253-image-a-40_1694179755699.jpg\" height=\"414\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Mason Greenwood (middle) has been src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/08\/14\/75216047-12496253-image-a-41_1694179761918.jpg\" height=\"456\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Greenwood (left) has been training in\u00a0Nike Mercurial Superfly 4 boots with Getafe<\/p>\n<p>He has since been unveiled as Getafe&#8217;s new star striker after completing a Deadline Day move to the club and opted for an old pair of boots during a recent training session.<\/p>\n<p>The Bradford-born former England international pulled on a pair of Nike Mercurial Superfly 4 boots as he ramps up preparations for his expected debut later this month.<\/p>\n<p>Nike have since released a further five versions of the prestigious boot model.<\/p>\n<p>Greenwood was previously seen training in a park wearing Nike\u00a0Phantom GX boots while United waited to decide on whether to reintroduce him back into the first-team.<\/p>\n<p>His appearance in Spain has received heavy criticism, however, Getafe have been doing their best to make Greenwood feel at home in his new surroundings.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/08\/14\/75216531-12496253-image-m-49_1694180402914.jpg\" height=\"424\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Greenwood was previously dropped by Nike and is without a boot sponsor<\/p>\n<p>The club haven&#8217;t been shy in making him the centre-piece of their recent media output with Greenwood being unveiled in front of eager Getafe supporters and have released a lengthy video showcasing his arrival at the club.<\/p>\n<p>Greenwood demonstrated his delight at being given a new opportunity in senior football after agreeing a move to Spain and said: &#8216;Hi Getafe fans, it&#8217;s Mason here.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I&#8217;m so happy to be here and I can&#8217;t wait to get started.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>The striker will have to get up to speed following a year away from team training but could make his debut on September, 17 when Getafe host Osasuna.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\"
