I would imagine people are more likely to boo or show an audible distaste.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;There are members attending who we&#8217;ve spoken to and told the position of the group, which is to turn backs. If they want to boo that&#8217;s a personal decision.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/08\/11\/75208335-12495663-image-a-33_1694167383561.jpg\" height=\"495\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Henderson has previously been a vocal ally of LGBTQ+ communities, wearing rainbow laces and armbands, but fans have accused him of abandoning those views by going to Saudi Arabia<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/08\/11\/75120181-12495663-Al_Ettifaq_appeared_to_blur_out_Henderson_s_rainbow_coloured_fla-a-35_1694167487015.jpg\" height=\"474\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Al-Ettifaq appeared to blur out Henderson&#8217;s rainbow-coloured flag in his announcement video<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/08\/11\/75210545-12495663-image-a-4_1694170256291.jpg\" height=\"231\" width=\"306\"><\/p>\n<p>Joe White, Three Lions Pride co-chair<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The issue with booing when you&#8217;re part of the England fan movement, it could also turn other fans against you who might not know the reasons behind it.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;That was why our position as a group is turning backs. [It] is done in a way that still respects the England team, but makes the point quite clearly that we don&#8217;t have respect for Jordan anymore.&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Reflecting on The Athletic&#8217;s interview with Henderson\u00a0on Tuesday, White criticised the former Liverpool star&#8217;s naivety when speaking about the cultures of Saudi Arabia and Qatar, who hosted the World Cup last year.<\/p>\n<p>Commenting on Henderson&#8217;s comments, he said: &#8216;It\u2019s very much a disappointment. It doesn\u2019t feel like it lines up with what he\u2019s said his values are.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Saudi Arabia is a country that criminalises our existence, that penalises who we are. I don\u2019t believe I\u2019m LGBT. Those on the ground have a very different feeling.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;We saw rainbow flags being confiscated, people being strip-searched, people being detained for having anything with a rainbow on or anything related to LGBT issues.
