His partner, Harriet Robson, with whom he shares a child, was also present in the stands.<\/p>\n<p>Getafe were branded &#8216;tone deaf&#8217; after hailing &#8216;MasonMania&#8217; on social media following his arrival but put on a glitzy display for the player&#8217;s welcome regardless.<\/p>\n<p>Greenwood told attendees that he was &#8216;feeling good&#8217; and &#8216;happy to be here&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/05\/18\/75087915-0-image-m-8_1693935769919.jpg\" height=\"458\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/05\/18\/75088119-12483787-image-a-25_1693936105101.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/05\/19\/75081125-12483787-Mason_Greenwood_s_partner_has_been_pictured_at_Getafe_s_ground_a-a-33_1693937327304.jpg\" height=\"582\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/05\/19\/75081127-12483787-Mason_Greenwood_s_partner_shared_a_Getafe_shirt_with_daddy_on_th-a-34_1693937331293.jpg\" height=\"741\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The 21-year-old then added: &#8216;We take [it] one game at a time. I know the next home game is coming up soon. We are going to try and win it and do our best.&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Greenwood, once capped by England, joined the Spanish top-flight side last week on a season-long loan. Last month, United revealed the player would leave by mutual agreement after an internal investigation lasting just over six months.<\/p>\n<p>The move came after criminal charges against Greenwood, including attempted rape and assault, were dropped by the Crown Prosecution Service in February.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ms Robson was seen smiling in the sunshine ahead of the unveiling on Instagram.<\/p>\n<p>She posted pictures on her story to her 725,000 followers of herself smiling at the stadium, plus a Getafe shirt with the word &#8216;daddy&#8217; on the back and the number 12.<\/p>\n<p>This is the number Greenwood will wear this season.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/05\/18\/75087433-12483787-image-a-26_1693936110179.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Thousands had gathered to welcome Greenwood, as well as fellow new additions Diego Rico and Oscar Rodriguez, and chanted his name. His signing has been heavily promoted across the club&#8217;s social media pages in recent days.<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, Getafe shared a video of supporters queuing up for pictures with Greenwood and labelled the clip &#8216;MasonMania&#8217;, sparking outrage online.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>One account accused the social media activity of being &#8216;tone deaf&#8217; while another claimed the club have &#8216;zero shame&#8217;.
