{"id":291124,"date":"2023-09-03T23:42:37","date_gmt":"2023-09-03T23:42:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sportstons.com\/?p=291124"},"modified":"2023-09-03T23:42:37","modified_gmt":"2023-09-03T23:42:37","slug":"jurgen-klopp-says-he-had-no-concerns-over-mo-salahs-focus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sportstons.com\/soccer\/jurgen-klopp-says-he-had-no-concerns-over-mo-salahs-focus\/","title":{"rendered":"Jurgen Klopp says he had no concerns over Mo Salah&apos;s focus"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Jurgen Klopp says he had no concerns about Mohamed Salah&#8217;s focus ahead of Liverpool&#8217;s game with Aston Villa amid talks of a move to Saudi Arabia&#8230; insisting that it was something that &#8216;NEVER came through&#8217;<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Mohamed Salah started Liverpool&#8217;s clash with Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>It comes despite talk of the Egyptian joining Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><b>Follow live updates from Liverpool&#8217;s Premier League clash with Aston Villa<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Jurgen Klopp insists that he didn&#8217;t have to worry about Mohamed Salah&#8217;s focus going into their game with Aston Villa.<\/p>\n<p>The German picked Salah from the start despite the Egyptian being linked with a move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Liverpool\u00a0rejected an offer of \u00a3150m but that hasn&#8217;t deterred the Saudi Pro league\u00a0club who will carry on pushing for Salah until their window closes on September 7.<\/p>\n<p>The European transfer window might be closed, but Liverpool have four days to fight off the advances of Sauri Arabi, with\u00a0Al-Ittihad prepared to go up to \u00a3200m.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Klopp looked visibly amused before Liverpool&#8217;s match with Aston Villa, when he was asked whether he had to consider whether Salah was fully focused.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/03\/14\/75011477-12475745-image-a-81_1693749056268.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Mohamed Salah started Liverpool&#8217;s clash with Aston Villa despite talk of a Saudi move<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/03\/14\/75011473-12475745-image-a-82_1693749080049.jpg\" height=\"422\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Jurgen Klopp has insisted that he has had nothing to worry about in regards to Salah&#8217;s focus<\/p>\n<p>After pulling a confused look before laughing at the question, he said:<span>\u00a0&#8216;I didn&#8217;t have to this was a media story and it never came through.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I have a big desk in my office, a lot of papers on there, a laptop, iPad, everything you need. None of them are busy with any kind of these news.
