Nate Diaz has become embroiled in a spat with two of his UFC rivals on Twitter, calling out both Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor in a bizarre tirade on Thursday. Diaz made the comments after trying to get Poirier to agree to fight him on the social media platform.
Diaz had originally tweeted Poirier on Wednesday, writing: “Let’s fight don’t be scared this time tho.”
Diaz is referring to their scheduled bout at UFC 230 in November 2018 which was cancelled as a result of ‘The Diamond’ suffering a hip injury in camp.
Clearly, Diaz heard from someone that negotiations about a fight between the two Americans were not going well, as on Thursday evening he said: “I knew you was a p**** b**** that’s 2-0.”
Poirier seemed unwilling to become overly involved in a war of expletives with Diaz, who is known for his explosive stunts and foul mouth.

The 32-year-old from Louisiana responded calmly, suggesting that the UFC weren’t necessarily being honest with Diaz when it came to discussions about the possible match-up: “They’re lying and you’re getting played.”
Diaz once again hit back in profane fashion: “Boss the f*** up quit being a lil b****.
“I do what I want, you do what you’re told.”
Poirier recently defeated McGregor for the second time this year by TKO. At the end of the first round, McGregor broke his leg after attempting to kick Poirier, and was unable to continue- although the Irishman did still manage a volatile interview with Joe Rogan after the contest.

In stark contrast, Diaz is in poor form in the UFC, having been defeated in three of his last four fights.
Most recently, he was comprehensively beaten by Leon Edwards at UFC 263 in May, with the judges unanimously awarding Edwards the victory.
Prior to that he had lost to Jorge Masvidal and McGregor, with a victory over Anthony Pettis in between.
Diaz made sure to take a shot at McGregor who had made clear that he was enjoying the exchange between his two nemeses. McGregor replied to Diaz’s attack, writing: “Hahahahah continue going, I am entertained.”
Diaz was never likely to let the opportunity to have a go at McGregor pass him by, especially when he was clearly riled up by the Poirier exchange.
The 34-year-old posted a GIF of a clip from Scary Movie 2, showing someone being mocked for having a broken leg.
Diaz and McGregor were once the biggest stars in the sport, with the fighters currently split one win each in their two bouts against each other which both took place in 2016.
Over the years there has been much talk about a trilogy fight, but any thoughts of such a contest will now have to wait for McGregor to recover from his broken tibia. The injury is set to rule him out of action for at least a year.
