West Ham fan travels almost 4,000 miles to watch club’s new signing in Ghana
A loyal West Ham fan has travelled almost 4,000 miles go watch Mohammed Kudus play for Ghana – and he wasn't disappointed.
West Ham aren't in action until taking on Manchester City next weekend, but one eager supporter earmarked Ghana's clash against Central African Republic at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Thursday (September 8).
The fan was spotted wearing a West Ham polo shirt and baseball cap outside the stadium, armed with a bottle of water to manage the heat.
Approached by The Ghana Web, he said: "I'm here to watch Mohammed Kudus. He's very skilful, very strong. We love him."

He added: "West Ham are massive, everywhere we go. I've come all the way from the UK to come and watch Mohammed Kudus and the Black Stars."
He was then asked to show off his Hammers tattoo, showcasing a logo on his wrist before throwing up crossed arms to the camera.
Ghana were taking on Central African Republic at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, which has a capacity of over 40,000 and was first built back in 1959.

The stadium is 4,608 miles from West Ham's London Stadium by road, taking 103 hours by car and over 12 hours in a plane – or even 53 days by foot.
The fan was not left disappointed as Kudus fired home a free-kick to level up the scores after Louis Mafouta's opener.
Ernest Nuamah then grabbed a late winner in the AFCON qualifier, ensuring Chris Hughton's side their spot in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations which take place across January and February of 2024.

Kudus, 23, made his West Ham debut in their win over Luton following a fee of £38million including potential add-ons.
The forward won two Eredivisie titles and a cup during his four seasons with Ajax, scoring 18 goals across all competitions last season.
