West Ham beat both of football owner Evangelos Marinakis’ two clubs in four days
Evangelos Marinakis may find himself throwing darts at West Ham posters.
The Greek businessman has had his nose put out of joint by David Moyes’ Hammers twice in four days. West Ham faced his beloved Olympiacos in the Europa League and secured a hard fought 1-0 victory at the London Stadium.
A few days later, Marinakis thought he was going to enjoy a small bit of revenge, as Nottingham Forest took the lead against the Hammers in the Premier League. Unfortunately for him, West Ham came from behind to overcome one of his teams for the second time in four days.

On Thursday November 9, Lucas Paqueta's slick volley secured a valuable three points for the Hammers over Olympiacos. The Brazilian lashed home a wonderful finish after James Ward-Prowse lofted an inch-perfect pass over the top of the Greek giants' backline and into his path.
Four days later, Paqueta scored against a Marinakis team again after he capitalised on a defensive mix-up in Forest's defence and slotted home from 25 yards. Taiwo Awoniyi tapped home an equaliser on the stroke of half-time to level the contest.

Marinakis would have then been rubbing his hands in excitement in the second half when Anthony Elanga finished a free-flowing team move by slotting a wonderful effort into the bottom corner to give Forest the lead. However, the goal prompted the Hammers to find another gear and they quickly equalised through a flicked header from Jarrod Bowen.
As the game entered the final stages of the contest, Marinakis and Forest boss Steve Cooper may have had their fingers crossed for a hard-fought point. Unfortunately for them, a typically brilliant set-piece from James Ward-Prowse landed on the head of Tomas Soucek, and the big Czech Republic international nodded the ball into the bottom corner.
The victory moved the Hammers into ninth position and left Forest in 15th. West Ham's victory over Olympiacos also left the Greek giant's hopes of reaching the knockout stages of the competition in tatters. As well as losing to Moyes' side, SC Freiberg's 5-0 demolition over Backa Topola saw the Bundesliga giants overtake Olympiacos in Group A.
